referee's call
Reading the court. Two sides, one line: stake on the left or the right, and at the bell the side with less staked is ruled out. Its stakes, less a 3% levy, are split across the heavier side in proportion to every stake standing there.
Left holds 30,000: A staked 20,000 and B 10,000. Right holds 50,000: C staked 10,000 and D 40,000. The bell rings and the left is lighter, so it is ruled out.
The levy is 3% of 30,000 = 900. The other 29,100 crosses the line, split by stake on the right: C takes 10,000 back + 5,820, D takes 40,000 back + 23,280. A and B take nothing.
A tie refunds everyone. So does a bell with only one side staked. Stakes can be added until the bell, so the heavier side can change hands right up to it. all the rules →
Worked: left 30,000 vs right 50,000. Left is ruled out; 29,100 crosses the line. A 10,000 stake on the right takes back 15,820.
Nothing at . The court is this way.
